Drive Up to Vote on the Contract: October 7 from 3-6pm

UFEA Members:

You get to vote on our contract TODAY (Wednesday, October 7, 2020) from 3-6pm.

Voting is open to all UFEA members and it is important all members drive up and vote!

Due to constraints created by COVID-19, voting is being done differently this year. Members are asked to drive up at Normal Community or Normal West (based on your homebase) to cast your vote.

If you are homebased at the following buildings, you will drive up to vote at Normal West HS: Kingsley Junior High, Parkside Junior High, Brigham, Carlock, Fairview, Fox Creek, Glenn, Hudson, Oakdale, Parkside Elementary, Pepper Ridge, Prairieland, ERRC, Field, Unit Office

If you are homebased at the following buildings, you will drive up to vote at Normal Community HS: Chiddix Junior High, Evans Junior High, Benjamin, Cedar Ridge, Grove, Hoose, Northpoint, Sugar Creek, Towanda

When you drive up to vote:

• you will be handed an ink pen (the pen is yours to keep so we don’t share materials)
• you will be asked to sign in, and handed a ballot
• you will be allowed a chance to mark your ballot before driving up to deposit it

Your vote is important!
It’s a benefit of being a member, and the bargaining committee wants all members to share their voice and use their vote!

AFTER YOU VOTE:
Voting is open from 3-6pm. After you vote, you can home and wait for the results to be announced (at UFEA.org) later that evening.

UFEA members will be volunteering at each location. Please take every precaution (including wearing a mask) for their health and safety — and yours.
