The Unit Five Education Association is partnered with McLean County Unit 5 Schools. UFEA is affiliated with the Illinois Education Association and National Education Association and located in IEA’s Region 14.

UFEA is a professional association that is composed of, and represents, education professionals in the Unit 5 School District.

Our Purpose and Mission

UFEA exists to:

  • advance public education and to promote the welfare of students and teachers.
  • form a representative body which will function effectively with other professional educational associations (local, state, and national).
  • foster and promote good fellowship and professional ethics among its members.
  • enable members to speak with a common voice.
